Meet the Herd

Cinnamon Spice and Everything Nice

Cinnamon is our unregistered Nigerian Dwarf queen of the herd. She was our very first bottle baby and therefore holds a very special place in our hearts. Still new to goats she gave us grace as we learned what to do and what not to do.

Cinnamon was our first milk goat, which means she survived my mildly viral video of me milking her entirely incorrectly. She is patient and sweet with the creamiest milk you will ever have. She has given us 5 doelings in her two freshening on our farm all while proving to be an excellent and doting mother! That’s a pretty great record! Despite our herd switching to Registered Mini Nubians she has managed to hold her place on our farm.

Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle is A gorgeous new doe we are welcoming into our herd from Birght Fire Farms in Bridgeport, Texas. She is an F4 stunner with great genetics behind her. She has several milk stars in her line and we are expecting big things from this little one!

Honeysuckle has the potential to be one of our strongest producers as we go into kidding next year so buckle up because her sister is coming too!

Princess Buttercup

Buttercup is our regal MGDA registered F7 Mini Nubian doe out of WBJ’s Kiddin Around in Choudrant, CA.

Born in the Spring of 2022, she is currently in her second freshening. She has given twins during both of her first and second freshening. In her thrived freshening this year she surprised us with a 3rd, giving us three bucklings this season.

She has a beautiful utter with buttery soft attachments. She gives on average a quart per milking and I can’t wait to see what this freshening will bring!

Sugar Plum

Sugar Plum, sisters with Honeysuckle, is a triplet from Bright Fire Farms that we couldn’t be more excited about. She is an F4 Mini Nubian who is sure to make an impression with her flash and milk capacity.

She has lines from BlackBerry, Rater O and Green Gables along with several other amazing farms. Bright Fire Farms has done an amazing job at sourcing goats for so many notable breeders that Sugar Plum and Honeysuckle have phenomenal and diversified genetics!

I simply cannot wait to see the Dam’s these two girls turn out to be!

Apricot

Apricot is a gorgeous MGDA registered F8 Mini Nubian out of Emerald Acres in Jacksboro Texas. She is a blue eyed doe that will bring significant flash to our herd.

Born in early spring of 2025, Apricot is also the half sister to Pepper sharing the same sire, Walker out of Zygoat farms. She is a triplet and will be bringing her brother to our farm as well. Her dam, Plum, has a large capacity giving over half a gallon of milk being milked once a day. We hope that her sire will improve utter structure and that she will be an amazing addition to our dairy herd.

The Boys Club

Introducing the boys:

First up we have Peanut. He is the brother to our Herd Sire. The farm we got both him and his brother from was struggling to get Peanut to take a bottle so we decided to take him on. Fast-forward to now, he is another wethered sugar sweet lawn ornament.

Next we have Alfredo. It is honestly a crying shame that as such a beautiful F8 male he wasn’t able to stay a buck and keep his breeding rights. But nonetheless, he is our resident companion buddy. As we continue to work on our infrastructure, we plan to create a space the boys can be separated from our girls to keep better track of breeding. This will allow us to make sure everyone is the appropriate age and we can be prepared when kidding time comes.

Barley Boy

Barley is our y F2 MGDA registered Buck. This season he was the Sire on the farm to 9 beautiful kids with his beautiful flashy coloring. He fathered 2 sets of triplets and totally in 5 bucklings and 4 doelings. His polled genetics passing down to 2 of his Sired kids.

As far as bucks go he is as sweet and lovable as they come. Sired by Han Solo out of Cedar Creek and Dam, White Leg out of Screaming Goat Farm we are excited to see the improvements he brings to the table for our herd as we will be retaining a doeling from Apricot this season.
